Because the threaded connection on my water heater of 200L was too narrow, oakum didn’t work (drips). The problem wasn’t fixed by wrapping Teflon tape 11 times around. I just needed to wrap this product around 6 times and the problem disappeared. Be sure to put the green side to the threaded connection and stretch tightly. Quick and easy. (Phil)
